Situated in the Chicago suburb of Aurora, Palyul AtiLing Buddhist Studies and Meditation Center carries on the studies and meditational practices of Buddha dharma according to the Tibetan Buddhist Nyingma Palyul lineage.

The Palyul lineage is one of the six major lineages of the Nyingma School, with H.H. Penor Rinpoche as the spiritual leader. The mother monastery is situated in Palyul county of Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan, and later Penor Rinpoche established Namdroling Monastery in South India. There are currently about five thousand monks at the monastery and seven hundred nuns at the nunnery. They carry on the tradition to study and practice the Buddha dharma in the Monastic Institute and Retreat Center by hearing, contemplating and meditating so that the Namcho or Sky Treasure lineage revealed by Migyur Dorje, the great Nyingma Treasure Revealer, will continue to flourish. Penor Rinpoche established numerous dharma centers throughout the world in order for all sentient beings to learn and practice the dharma to put an end to cyclic existence and attain ultimate liberation.

位于美国芝加哥奧罗拉市，白玉勝境洲佛学会是秉承藏传佛教宁玛派白玉传承所修持的教法来进行佛法学习和禅修。

白玉传承是宁玛六大传承之一，传承之精神领袖为尊贵的贝诺法王。白玉主寺位于四川省甘孜州白玉縣境内。目前駐錫于南印度之南卓林寺现有僧眾及学僧五千多人，尼寺有七百多人，为弘扬宁玛巴大伏藏师明珠多傑之天法传承而努力，在寺内佛学院和闭关中心进行闻思修。贝诺法王为了让眾生能珍惜佛法、修持佛法並能够依教奉行脱离轮迴之苦，获得究竟之解脱，在世界各地成立了许多中心和佛学会。
